NHS Dumfries & Galloway (NHSDG) is seeking to appoint a Window Cleaning Contractor to provide these services in NHSDG's properties throughout Dumfries and Galloway. The key services being sought are the external cleaning of windows including frames, heads, cills, panels, fixtures and fittings at all NHSDG properties. The contract shall comprise of the cleaning of windows at NHS Dumfries & Galloway sites in line with BS 8213-1:2004 “Design for safety in use and during cleaning of windows, including door-height windows and roof windows – Code of practice.” The works indicated above shall enable the client to demonstrate compliance with the relevant sections of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. The contract shall comprise of the remedial works required to repair the existing equipment if found to be faulty subject to the prior approval of the Budget Holder and Client.
