ITT for the provision of Air Compressor System Design

Tender description

Due to expansion of the facility there is a requirement to install a new Compressed air system. The new projects air requirement is approximately 300CFM at 8 bar. The existing air usage is currently unknown and will be the responsibility of the successful tenderer to ascertain. This ITT should be read in conjunction with the relevant UK Standards:- The purpose of this ITT to carryout the design of a suitably sized compressed air system that will have approximately 30% spare capacity but will also have the ability to be increased for future developments at the facility. The system drop points will be identified during the site walkdowns, however the assumption can be made of one per room. The facility is approximately 6750m2 in size. The design document should be presented in the format that will allow Capestone to release in a further Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the procurement and install of the equipment. Format of provided documentation shall be as follows:- Pdf and MS Word for the design specification AutoCAD (or equivalent) and pdf for drawings.
