Provision of Catering Services for Aberdeen Art Gallery Museum. (Concession Contract) Aberdeen City Council’s requirements are to ensure potential Caterers provide public and private catering services at the Art Gallery, in two public spaces, the Café and the Coffee Bar. This includes appropriate catering offer at private events such as exhibition openings, meetings and sponsor and donor receptions, which occur throughout both the buildings complex. The catering offer at these venues must reflect and embody the essence of what the Art Gallery is to become when it reopens in Autumn 2019. It is a critical element in setting the tone of the front-of-house customer experience and it should be seen as one of the integral elements contributing to the overall visitor experience. The key to ensuring that the catering experience only ever enhances the experience of visiting the Gallery will be a genuine meeting of approach, ethos and operational style between the Caterer and the Aberdeen City Council team.
