<p>Sunderland City Council will be hosting pre-procurement market engagement sessions over two days for the upcoming procurement process for a Bereavement Services Cemetery mapping, information and administration computerised system. The Council requires a new digital cemetery mapping and grave identification and allocation system, which may include the following high-level requirements: &bull; Web based Digital Map &ndash; providing all users access to individual and accurate cemetery maps displaying each cemetery, cemetery sections, grave locations and precise grave space information together with details of the name of each person interred and date of interment. GPS location services for operational staff would be an advantage together with facility for high resolution zoom, to ensure accurate location, identification and allocation of grave space Maps should identity individual graves spaces of as yet unpurchased graves to enable an accurate forecast of available grave spaces for sale, and display visual information on buildings and other obstacles within each cemetery. Maps should have varying levels of information access to enable the publication of such maps on a web portal for family members to access for investigation or research. &bull; Information management system &ndash; capable of providing operatives and management real time information on location of cemetery graves, interments names, grave ownership details, burial dates, burial depths, position of cremated remains outside of main grave space, pre-purchased graves details and locations, memorial installation dates, memorial inspection dates for each individual grave. &bull; Technical Portal &ndash; to provide an easy to use interface for technicians to use both within defined offices and when mobile and record notes, allocate grave spaces, update or amend records and access general information. To enable multiple teams to access, update, amend or book information management and booking information simultaneously remotely or office based. &bull; Work Allocation - able to allocate grave dig requirements to operational staff, providing detailed information on date of dig, date of burial, time of burial, required depth, coffin sizes, memorial information, name of deceased and details of the location of allocated grave space, including precise location detail displayed on a digital map.</p> Keywords: software
