The aim of the HSHAZ is to secure sustainable, heritage-led town centre growth to create a more vibrant, better connected and enhanced town centre. As a result of the HSHAZ project, there will be greater economic activity. Lower vacancy, better fabric condition and more activities to engage local people. Due to covid-19 and economic factors the project hasn't progressed in alignment with the original timescales set out within the initial programme design.
