GB-Colchester: Planned Renewal of Heating Systems

Tender description

This contract is for the Planned Replacement of Boilers and Heating Systems under the Housing Investment Programme for Colchester Borough Council's residential properties. Colchester Borough Council's housing stock of approximately 6,100 tenanted units and 1000 leaseholder units is managed by Colchester Borough Homes Ltd, which is an Arm's Length Management Organisation, and will act as Contract Administrator for this contract. Colchester Borough Council (the Council) wishes to commission a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractor to undertake and manage the works. The anticipated volume is 350 properties by the end of March 2022 and subject to contract extensions, 350 in the second year and 250 in the third year. Bidders are advised that these volumes are not guaranteed and may be subject to change. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
