Tender description
Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority wish to let a contract on behalf of Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS), for the pre-planned services and reactive maintenance of building electrical services to the BFRS estates properties consisting of 19 sites across the County of Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes. The contract will be two years fixed price contract, commencing 01 April 2021. This contract is aimed at dealing with reactive repairs, i.e. day to day repairs that need to be dealt with quickly to keep properties in reasonable order and meet emergency services unique requirements, as well as planned works as detailed in the Specification. The contractor must carry out pre-planned maintenance servicing and reactive works to ensure safe and correct operation, complying with all legislative, regulatory requirements and industry good practice. Where legislative, regulatory requirements exceed the requirements of this document, they shall be adhered to in their entirety. The specification is not exclusive and is dependent on site specific requirements. ESTIMATED CONTACT VALUE (based on full duration of 2 years) Estimated Annual Total Value - Range from £48k to £65k Estimated Total Contract Value - Range from £96k to £130k The Estimated Contract Values stated above are based on relevant economic factors including the budget available to the Contracting Authority, and wider market and category knowledge. Tender responses with a total price exceeding the Estimated Contract Value by more than 5% will be disqualified from the tender process. Bidders are reminded to carefully note this requirement of the Contracting Authority before any tender submissions.
