GB-Hinckley: PQQ - Contract for Adaptation Works

Tender description

The successful contractor will support Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council's own In-House repairs service in carrying out Aid and Adaptation works to council owned dwellings within the Borough. The works comprise of the adaptation of existing facilities within tenanted properties. The scope of the works will include the installation of Level Access Showers & disabled kitchens, ramped external access, external hardstanding, door widening, and the fitting of hand & grab rails. Works outside of this scope may also be required. Orders will be issued on a responsive basis, and to Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council's specification. The HBBC In-House team also complete some of the works; estimated to be 20% of the Total number of adaptations per annum. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
