Tender description

An electronic service with the supplier acting as a Registered Body for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks on behalf of the Authority. The Registered Body’s role is to: • Provide a secure online service • Comply with the DBS’s Code of Practice, which can be found at: www.gov.uk/government/organisations/disclosure-and-barring-service • Comply with Keeping Children Safe in Education statutory guidance for DBS checks which can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/keeping-children-safe-in-education--2 • Act as counter-signatory for all DBS applications Keywords: disclosure, barring, registered body
