Overview: As part of the Transport for Wales’ (TfW) Core Valley Lines (CVL) Project, Balfour Beatty Rail have been asked to submit a quotation for the project’s Heavy lift and haulage requirements. Balfour Beatty Rail is seeking to engage the market for proposals which shall include the required cranage for 7 modular substations required to offload at Glasgow via mobile crane, reload, transportation and discharge modular substations at various site locations in Wales via mobile crane. 1. Taff’s Well MPTSS Taffs Well Containerised Substation Building (9258mm (L) x 3720mm (W) x 3815mm (H) -1. Offloading at Glasgow site via Mobile Crane Include 1 AP, 1 Slinger and support vehicle. -2. Provision of mats (if required) -3. Reloading at Glasgow site via Mobile Crane Include 1 AP, 1 Slinger and support vehicle -4. Transport & Escort of Taffs Well Module from FOT Glasgow site to FOT site (CF15 7RF) site via 5axle semi-trailer. -5. Discharging at site in Wales via Mobile Crane include 1 AP, 1 Slinger and support vehicle. 2. Tonteg Feeder Station (FS) Upper Boat Containerised Substation Building (11358mm (L) x 3720mm (W) x 3815mm (H) -1. Offloading at Glasgow site via Mobile Crane Include 1 AP, 1 Slinger and support vehicle. -2. Provision of mats (if required) -3.
