Tender description

Under section 55(2)(b) of the Care Act 2014, the Care Quality Commission ('CQC') may arrange for a person with appropriate professional expertise to carry out an independent review of the business of registered providers within the Market Oversight Scheme. The review is required to inform CQC's assessment of financial sustainability and the conditions for notifying Local Authorities under section 56 of the Act (Stage 6 notification) i.e. where a business is likely to fail and services are likely to cease as a result.
