Award of 714_0792 - 250m Staged construction new Forest road

Tender description

Dear supplier, We are inviting quotes to construct 250m new forest road including installations of culverts basing road with stone won by contractor and surfacing it with crushed stone supplied by FLS (See Spec attached) supply and installation of culverts with headwalls, and grading and rolling within Hyndlee Forest, Wauchope all base stone to be won by contractor from Mathematicians quarry approx. 3Km round trip stite to quarry, surfacing stone will be provided for uplift by contractor from Mathematicians Quarry in Hyndlee Forest approx. 3Km round trip. This needs to be a staged construction which will consist of 175m based road and culvert installations to allow harvester in to fell last 75m and turning point, Stage 2 will be to completed the remaining 75m and construct TP and surface the full length of completed road, grade and roll. See all other documentation for further detailed information. Contractor will be required to leave site to allow for felling and return after felling have been completed ext 1 week. This may be quicker but contractor should allow for at least being off site for 1 week. Please read through the attached documents for further information. Thanks
