Hot School Meals Services to Kennedy Park National School

Kennedy Park National School is in a DEIS Band 2 community and welcomes all proposals on the provision of food and beverages in the school. These can be prepared either on or off site. The school has a prefab on the grounds of the school which, now, is being used as a resource room. This room maybe considered suitable for the preparation of snacks and hot meals. If a tenderer plans to prepare snacks and hot meals on site, a site visit is recommended. The school meal items include a Morning Snack and a Hot Meal. It should be noted that the menu must be in line with the school’s Healthy Eating Policy and Healthy Ireland’s Nutrition Standards for School Meals, including the Nutrition Standards for Hot School Meals. Food items must be of a consistently high standard and nutritious quality, with regular variety of food and drink items to encourage and maintain pupil engagement with the hot School Meals Programme, including the accommodation of religious and dietary requirements as needed and be fully responsible for the staffing, management and operation of the school meals service. A site visit is available to tenderers who wish to visit the campus. Appointments can be made via the e-tenders messaging. Appointments will be accommodated up to 17th December 2021 and should be made at least 24 hrs in advance. All local Covid-19 health and safety regulations will need to be adhered to.
