Tender description

Lot 1: IE invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process to appoint suitably qualified companies to a qualification system for Archaeological Services and Surveys. The qualification system will be established for a period of three years from January 2022 to January 2025 with an option to extend at IEs discretion to extend by a further 2 years. Successful candidates will be expected to provide Archaeological Services and Surveys.to all locations on the Irish Rail Network Overview of Services include but will not be limited to below: • Provision of Archaeological Consultancy Services • Archaeological Assessments • Open area archaeological excavations according to best archaeological practice • Archaeological Test Trenching • Geophysical and Topographical Surveys and other associated surveys to support the archaeological investigations • Consultation with statutory bodies including the National Museum of Ireland and the National Monument Service • All services shall be carried out under the terms of archaeological license(s) issued by the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and in accordance with the method statement(s) prepared and submitted by the Archaeological Consultant in support of the application(s) for the archaeological licenses.
