Tender description
Trinity College Dublin invites expressions of interest in relation to USRP’s for a research project addressing the implementation and further development of 5G protocol stacks based on Software Defined Radio. USRPs are radio front-end boards that also host FPGA and GPU processing chips. The aim is to expand existing research on all aspects of the 5G protocol stack both in non-standalone and standalone mode. Over the past 10 years successive research projects have iteratively invested in USRP-based technology. The project will assess the potential of augmenting existing hardware with the latest technology to deliver cost effective research outcomes. Please find further details attached.
