NI Water Emergency Laboratory Analysis - Request for Information (RFI)

Tender description

NI Water are required under the Clean and Waste Water Regulations to provide timely and accredited results to our Regulators, for compliance and operational purposes alongside and during major incidents. It is also a regulatory requirement to have contingency analysis services in place, in the event that there is a failure to supply any or all of an analytical service from one or both of NI Water’s laboratories. NI Water recently ran a tender for these services, however a number of clean and waste water parameters were not tendered for. As we are obliged to have a contract in place for this service, we are engaging with the market to gather further information that will enable Northern Ireland Water to develop a specification of requirements that will cover our needs, but also requirements that can be met and delivered by Economic Operators.
