Person Centred Communications Training aimed at Kirklees Staff supporting Children with Disabilities. This is a 3-day course to accommodate 60 members of staff • an introduction to communication skills- developing models and understanding the range of tools and strategies used with children and young people with communication difficulties • tasters of the main approaches used to support communication including apps and picture exchange The course is a mixture of interactive teaching, group participation and experiential learning.
