RTÉ are seeking Tenderers to participate in Frameworks to provide cost-effective services for Electronic News Gathering (ENG) & Electronic Field Production (EFP) Camera Services & EFP Sound & Electrical Services primarily on the Island of Ireland. RTÉ seeks responses from suitable experienced ENG & EFP camera crews and EFP Sound & Electrical Services who would like to be considered as part of these Multiparty Frameworks. This tender process is open to all relevant service providers including, but not limited to, sole traders, partnerships and companies with the competent skills and equipment to deliver these services. Through this tender process, RTÉ is adopting a new strategy to procure these types of services in a more coordinated and structured manner, which will bring together and replace a number of existing RTÉ processes and existing RTÉ spend. RTÉ believe this strategy will assist in delivering greater value for money from this existing spend while further promoting innovation and transparency in this part of the independent media sector.
