Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of: Replacement of the following items at six sites across the PSNI Estate: Site 1 Ballistic double swing gates, the existing switchgear and controls will be replaced. The existing anti-ram barrier will be replaced. Cable and containment will be installed to facilitate the works and to provide the necessary temporary camera connections. Site 2 The existing double leaf, hydraulic gates, pedestrian gate and anti-ram barrier will be replaced. To facilitate the works a temporary pedestrian gate will be constructed through the existing blast wall and enhanced security measures will be implemented at the rear gate for temporary vehicular access. Cable and containment will be installed to facilitate the works and to provide the necessary temporary camera connections. Site 3 The existing hydraulic gate controls and gate track will be replaced. To facilitate the works enhanced security measures will be implemented at the rear gate for temporary vehicular access. Site 4 The existing ballistic sliding gates and control equipment will be replaced. The existing internal gates will be removed and an anti-ram barrier installed. Site 5 The existing anti-ram barrier will be replaced. To facilitate the works enhanced security measures will be implemented at the rear gate for temporary vehicular access. Site 6 The existing road blockers will be replaced. To facilitate the works enhanced security measures will be implemented at the rear gate for temporary vehicular access. The Contract Period is estimated to be 12 months. Electrical subcontractors should maintain NICEIC or equivalent.
