Contract for Swansea Bay Sports Park Management Options

Tender description

Swansea Council has been nominated as Lead Authority to proceed with a joint arrangement on behalf of the Council and Swansea University (The Partners). The Partners require the services, support, information and intelligence of an experienced specialist consultant to work with the project team and to provide the required output information that informs and drives forward potential future management options for Swansea Bay Sports Park The Partners hold a joint strategic vision of creating an (Inter)nationally renowned Sport Park that is managed via a single entity and which is available to enhance the opportunities for Elite Sport, University Students, Clubs, Schools and the wider community. The Partners require an output report and business case that provides clear recommendations and an action plan for the delivering against a preferred option(s) and these should be evidenced by the fact that all management options; remaining in house/mixed model, redefining the current terms and remit of existing trust, establishing a new Trust, partnering with an existing operator or attracting commercial partners; or another mixed model have been explored.
