We are about to enter a Formal UK/PCR Compliant tender process (competitive with negotiation) to procure a Home Contents Insurance Scheme - the framework commencement date is 1 April 2022 and will last for a period of four years. This framework will be limited to Local Authorities (LA), Large Scale Voluntary Transfer organisations (LSVT’s), Registered Providers (RP)/Social Landlords (RSL’s), Housing Associations, Arms Length Management Organisations (ALMO’s), Tenant Management Organisations, housing co-operatives. The scope of this framework is for the provision of an insurance provider to deliver the Northern Housing Consortium's (NHC) ‘SIMPLE’ brand of Tenant Contents Insurance to current and future members of the NHC via our appointed brokers Marsh Ltd. The primary objective of SIMPLE is to provide tenants who live in social accommodation access to insurance services that are affordable, easy to understand and appropriate to the tenants needs.
