<p>LCC require an industry expert for each project with experience of undertaking natural turf and artificial turf playing pitch improvements and ancillary works that meet the requirements of Sport England and Football Foundation. The Consultant shall undertake the duties outlined below. This schedule does not purport to detail everything that shall be done but is intended to indicate the level of service expected. The tasks that will be requested from the Consultant can be grouped as follows: Advice, support, preparation and presentation of; &bull; Design of the improvement scheme for natural turf/grass pitches (and where applicable synthetic cricket wicket pitches and associated building works) serving each project &bull; Desk top review of the site from readily available records &bull; Utility searches &bull; Intrusive Ground Investigation (such as trial pitting or driven tube sampling) &bull; Drainage capacity survey &bull; Laboratory testing &bull; Topographical survey &bull; Electrical capacity survey &bull; For refurbishment projects a specialist survey that determines the make-up of the existing pitch and its base construction. &bull; Production of budget costs, project timescales and pitch downtimes in support of works associated at live sites &bull; Supporting documentation for submission of planning applications &bull; Drafting and production of documentation for contracts, including risk assessments &bull; Review and finalise all existing tender documentation ensuring compliance with industry best practice; &bull; Preparation of tender appraisal reports &bull; Advise on the evaluation criteria and financials for assessing tenders &bull; The Consultant shall arrange for the collection of sufficient data to allow the proposals to be properly planned</p> Keywords: England Football, Sports Pitch Consultant, natural turf and non-turf , Sports England
