New Programme Curriculum Development - Digital Skills, Green Skills and Upskilling for SME/Micro Businesses

The SOLAS Enterprise, Employees and Skills Unit invites applications from suitably qualified persons with relevant programme and curriculum design experience in the FET sector, to provide design and support services on three initiatives currently in development for enterprise. This work will be conducted under the direction of SOLAS and in collaboration with a Curriculum Development Group comprising ETB personnel and industry experts. Three initiatives are being launched by SOLAS and the Education and Training Boards, in collaboration with relevant enterprise stakeholders, to target employees in Irish enterprises. These areas are: • Digital Skills • Green Skills • Upskilling for SME/ Micro businesses. Under the direction of SOLAS and working in collaboration with a group comprising ETB and industry representatives, the contractor will assist in the identification of industry needs, match training needs to existing awards, identify gaps in existing awards and develop new awards and programmes as required. Each programme will include core modules with certification. Delivery mechanisms will be flexible in terms of in- person, blended, and online delivery to suit industry needs.
