Filey Seawall - Professional Services Contract

Tender description

The services are the management of the delivery from inception to completion of Works to construct repairs and refurbishment works to the seawall in Filey and improve the performance of the rock armour to prevent outflanking to the south of the seawall in Filey. The Consultant is required to undertake Services in two sections. Section One will be the procurement of a Contractor to participate in the Early Contractor Involvement stage and the management of the contractor's services in that stage, including undertaking the roles of Employer's Agent under the NEC3 PSC, and Principal Designer in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Section Two is the management of the Contractor during the construction phase and defects period, including undertaking the roles of Project Manager and Supervisor under the NEC3 ECC, and Principal Designer in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. This Section will only commence upon sufficient funding availability from third party beneficiaries to progress to construction and approval by the Council.
