Tender description

Detailed description: Construction of a new five-classroom national school building with new car parking, new hard play areas and other site works. The works will also include for the demolition of the existing 1960's school building (including removal of asbestos) and removal of existing prefabricated units. The existing recently constructed three-classroom school building (including prefabricated units) is to remain live throughout the contract. The contract will include upgrade works to the existing recently constructed three-classroom school building. The Gross Internal Floor Area is 1,079m2. Minimum standards and qualification required: As stated in DoES-QW2-Suitability-Assessment-Questionnaire-Open-2017.Tenderers are required to read the DoES-QW2-Suitability-Assessment-Questionnaire-Open-2017- carefully and to make sure that they meet the minimum standards stated therein. Tenderers who do not meet those requirements should not submit a tender as they will be excluded at award stage. All Tenderers are liable for their own costs of tendering. The Contract will be awarded on the basis of lowest Comparative Cost of Tender. Minimum standards and qualification required: As stated in DoES-QW2-Suitability-Assessment-Questionnaire Contract is intended to be awarded to a single main contractor. If a number of contractors apply as a group or joint venture and are successful, either a lead contractor must be nominated who will be responsible for providing the service or a Joint Venture must be formed or be in existence prior to the date of this contract notice, with whom the Awarding Authority will sign the contract.
