Design, Supply, and Installation of Gas Central Heating System - Back Up Contractor

Tender description

Housing and Technical Resources, Building Services, have an ongoing requirement for a back-up contractor to assist with the design and installation of domestic heating systems, including air source heating systems. This ranges from repairs heating replacements, natural gas fired heating system, boiler replacement, electric wet central heating, etc. These works result from programmes such as, one off emergency replacements, where the systems identified by Housing Services to be non-economic to repair. The backup sub-contractor will be utilised as and when required when support is deemed necessary by Building Services, who are the main contractor to Housing Services. The procurement was conducted by call off by mini competition from the Procurement for Housing (PfH) Dynamic Purchasing System, OJEU Reference Number 2018/S 184-415316 - Capital Works and Associated Works, Lot 4 Heating. The award criteria for the mini competition was 30% quality and 70% price. The successful contractor was the one who achieved the highest combined quality / price score.
