Car clubs in Hackney

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The borough of Hackney has a long history of innovating and supporting car clubs and Hackney residents are one of the highest users of car sharing services within London. Hackney Council aims to have 50% of all car clubs zero emission at tailpipe by 2025.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Council is considering an open market tender to secure future car club partners to deliver a great service to residents and meet its commitments to reducing private car ownership and improving air quality through providing at least half of its car club operations through EV only vehicles.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In order to ensure that the plan the Council implements to meet its goals is achievable and is in line with the industry&rsquo;s ability to deliver, we are engaging with car club providers in this soft market exercise.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Please respond to the questions below by</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 09 December 2021</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> date.
