21274 - Support of Digital Local Plans & Interactive Websites

Tender description

Plymouth City Council, South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council are seeking a consultant partner to work with them on delivering a digital local plan/s for their areas. They currently share a Joint Local Plan for their combined area, and this Joint Local Plan will either be reviewed, updated or replaced by a new style local plan/s in the next 2-3 years, depending on the outcome of the National Planning reforms. Regardless of the outcome of these reforms, each Council is committed to the digital agenda and so there is a present need to for a consultant partner to help them move in this direction. Additionally, the Councils are aware that they need to start their thinking and put in place the key infrastructure for their digital plan/s now in order to ensure that the plan review/preparation process is fully digital from the outset.
