Tender description

The ground investigation works provide for excavation of trial pits, slit trenches, installation & monitoring of groundwater levels in standpipes and piezometers, carrying out dynamic probing (DPH), and the drilling of cable percussion boreholes, The works will also involve temporary traffic management, sampling & in-situ testing, laboratory testing and the production of a factual report in accordance with the specification. The ground investigation locations and pricing document quantities are indicative only. Roscommon County Council reserve the right to change the location and quantities as the detailed design evolves. The Contractor shall act as PSCS in accordance with the requirements of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, Statutory Instrument No. 291.
