Tender description

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is exploring the capability and capacity of suppliers for the provision of language services across the justice system. This is expected to include face to face, telephone and video interpreting services for spoken and non-spoken languages and quality assurance of all language services. Translation and transcription is not currently in scope. The services will be required across the justice sector, including for all courts and tribunals in England and Wales and some tribunals in Scotland, as well as for other justice sector bodies. It is likely the contract will be divided into lots but this is to be developed as part of our market engagement. Lot 1: The scope and structure of this procurement will be further developed following market and stakeholder engagement and may change as a result of this ongoing activity. MoJ reserves the right to conduct further engagement activity with suppliers who show interest in the required services. Nothing within the notice commits the MoJ to conduct a tender exercise or enter into an Agreement and all information is indicative and subject to change.
