PROVISION OF R100 TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Tender description

The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of R100 Technical Advisor. The successful bidder will be required to provide technical advice and support to the R100 programme to work alongside the Legal & Financial Advisors to confirm value for money and contract compliance. A contract is currently in place with Farrpoint and this is due to end in August 2021. This time frame will see the programme in the midst of the first major post contract change in relation to the speed coverage template (this information determines which premises are in scope of the contract) and this is not due to complete until August 2021 due to public consultation, the Supplier redesign, and BDUK assurance to confirm that it is State Aid compliant. It is critical that legal services is in place before the current support contract comes to an end in order to support us through this major change.
