Renewal of SIP Telephone System

Renewal of contract with Gamma Telecoms Ltd to move to SIP. The process to transition to a new supplier has been complex. As a result a number of the smaller sites and PSTN lines are still outstanding to transfer on to the new technology. Lot 1: The transition to the new technology and supplier for telecoms provision has still to be completed. The process has also been on hold due to COVID. The transition that has been done so far, however, has been hugely successful and as well as improved service and flexibility of service provision – eg during COVID the HB were able to double the telephony capacity over night to deal the increase call volumes and facilitate the establishment of call centres. The Health Board wishes to complete the transition process already started with the existing supplier which has been prohibited due to the COVID pandemic.
