Architectural Works to include Internal Drylining to 1945 block. External wall Insulation to selected blocks with works to the existing flat roof`s to merge with new external wall insulation. Pumped cavity insulation to 2004 extension. 400mm quilt insulation to attic space. Insulated panels to the soffit of courtyard canopies. Construction of a bio-mass slab with duct to existing boiler room. Gas tank enclosure and ducting to building. Formation of a vehicle turning head. New gated delivery and associated fencing. General • Completion of external works. • Dust curtains and mats to each door of the affected rooms. • Main Contractor attendances, Insurances, scaffolding, protections, cleaning, management, programming etc. • Handover of all relevant operations and maintenance details and Safety File information to the PSDP. • Vacating from Site. M&E Works M&E works comprise of strip out of school’s 1945 block existing single pipe radiator installation and subsequent installation of new 2 pipe heating circuit with associated new radiators (along with localised 2 port control valves) and bring this new upgraded heating circuit back to the original basement boiler plant room and install a pump arrangement into existing header arrangement. The electrical works shall comprise the careful isolation and dislocation of existing power and comms outlets and wiring internally on the external facades being drylined, and the careful refixing on the existing installations back onto the new drylined walls. The M&E contractors will need to allow for adjustment of services located in the under crofts 2 & 3 to facilitate the installation of external insulation systems on the underside of the soffit and on external walls.
