GMIT Conversion Works Room 560 2021

Tender description

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology wishes to award a contract under the open procedure for project work involving the conversion of Room 560. This was formally a training kitchen and was partially adapted a number of years ago to facilitate the use of the room as computer lab. This project involves stripping out the services still remaining from its time as a kitchen and setting up for use as a purpose made lab for apprentice workshop delivery. There are also some services such as data and power that are currently in place that will need to be removed to carry out the works but maybe able to be reused in the reinstatement configuration. There are also some minor modifications to another existing Lab (Room 559) requiring new bench tops and an adjacent portacabin requiring network cabling. Please refer to ITT for full details.
