Tender description

The Iron Chicken is a calibration and test device to allow full scale proof trials of vibration test equipment in the National Satellite Test Facility. The device is required to provide resonant behaviour which can mimic medium and large satellites and specifically to provide a tuneable overturning moment to prove the capacity of shaker systems.
