Extension of Penetration Testing call off contract for 12 months. The MCA engaged in an activity last year to improve the management of penetration/security testing. Regular testing is required to ensure that the services protected irrespective of changes implemented over time. A call-off contract let to a specialist company offers the opportunity to broaden the scope of activity to include services not tested before, to include the internal network, end-user device builds and on-site wi-fi, reducing the administrative burden of separate procurement activities for each test. The MCA has extended the contract with Prism Infosec, originally let following a Further Competition under the Cyber Security Services 3 framework (Crown Commercial Service) following a successful previous year of annual and ad hoc testing.
