Cheshire Foundation in Ireland CLG trading as Cheshire Ireland supports people aged over 18 years who are physically and/or neurologically disabled. Cheshire Ireland support services are offered in private homes, residential centres, community clusters and stand-alone respite facilities. Cheshire Ireland supports over 250 people across 14 counties and 9 HSE CHO areas across Ireland. Cheshire Ireland is the largest supported accommodation provider in the country. Cheshire Foundation in Ireland CLG is a company limited by guarantee, not having a share capital, incorporated in Ireland on 4th January 1963 under the Companies Acts 1963 to 1990, registered number 20165. The company is also a registered charity (No: CHY 5484). Cheshire Ireland is financed by the Health Service Executive, Service user contributions, Dept. of Soc. Protection (CE Schemes) across the country and both solicited and unsolicited donations. Reporting Obligations Cheshire Ireland is required under governance to provide audited accounts to Funders (HSE – Disability Services), Companies Office, Charities Regulatory Authority, Approved Housing Body Regulatory Authority, Banking Institutions and its Members. SPECIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS Outline of Requirements The contract is for the provision of Financial Audit Services for Cheshire Ireland. The main components of the contract are as follows: Audit of the Company’s Financial Statements. The tasks for which the successful Service Provider will be responsible include, but are not restricted to: - • Meet with CFO, CEO and other Senior Managers to discuss audit planning and any other related matters. • Plan, perform and report on the Audit of the Financial Statements in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and International Standards on Auditing (UK and Ireland), sufficient to produce an audit report for the company. • Provision of Advice on the adherence to Accounting Standards, Financial Report Standards and Audit Standards as they apply to the Company
