NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust and on behalf of Powys Teaching Health Board require the work consists mainly of the replacement of internal doors with new anti-ligature / anti barricade door sets to various rooms. A number of the doors will be provided with access control and emergency nurse-call system. Minor building alterations include sub-division of a space to provide two additional bedrooms and adapting space in the entrance foyer to accommodate the control equipment for the access control system. A contractor to carry out various Anti Ligature Alterations to two of its sites Mental Health Resource Unites. Location of the Project Felindre Ward, Bronllys Hospital, Bronllys, Powys. LD3 0LS. Powys Teaching Health Board recognises the importance of the Welsh language to the communities it serves. Consequently, responses to an invitation to quote or tender will be accepted in Welsh as well as English. However, please note that tender responses submitted only in Welsh will be translated by the Trust into English before consideration. Those involved in translating the document will be barred from taking decisions on awarding tenders. The tender will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender based on 40% quality and 60% cost as detailed in the ITT document.
