<p>This contract is for the supply of various cables, cut outs and sundries for use in street lighting, by Derbyshire County Council, for an initial period of two years, with options to extend for up to a further two (separate) years subject to satisfactory performance, price, quality of goods and mutual agreement. It is split into twelve separate lots, namely: - 1. Wiring cable 2. Armoured cable 3. Glands, plates, and joints 4. Cable and wiring accessories 5. Fuse carriers 6. Cut outs and isolators 7. Consumer units and accessories 8. Fuse links 9. Core connectors 10. Surge protection 11. Passive safe disconnection systems 12. Earth rods Bidders can apply for any lot and must be able to price and provide all items within the lot(s) for which they are bidding. Each lot will be awarded to a single supplier. Delivery of goods will to the Street Lighting Stores in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (S41 7LG) although there may be occasions and operational requirements for delivery elsewhere within the County of Derbyshire.
