Tender description

The DASS is part of a suite of services co-commissioned at the same time with the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) in Worcestershire and other West Mercia Local Authorities to improve outcomes for individuals, families and their children affected by domestic abuse, increase value for money and future proof arrangements in the light of emerging strategies for Integrated Care System (ICS), probation and domestic abuse.Lot 1 - The Domestic Abuse Support Service (DASS) Lot 2 is for a West Mercia Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service Lot 3 - DRIVE Project Lot 1: Domestic Abuse Support Service The Domestic Abuse Support Service (DASS) is a requirement to enable Worcestershire County Council (WCC) to meet its statutory duty as set out in the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (legislation.gov.uk) published in April this year. This includes the provision of specialist domestic abuse support to adults and children living in emergency and safe house accommodation in addition to outreach services. Lot 2: West Mercia Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service This Service is for a West Mercia Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service for high risk Victims/Survivors of domestic violence and abuse aged 16 years and over. (Although the Service will not work directly with children under the age of 16, it will make referrals to safeguard children at risk of harm).
