Provision of Schools Management Information System

Tender description

AET is a multi academy trust comprising of 57 academies with a mixture of primary,secondary and special schools. We are seeking a supplier to provide a hosted cloud based Schools Management Information System for all academies. The MIS will be accessed over the internet and hosted in the cloud with the service provider providing the hosting, MIS solution, helpdesk support and maintenance. The successful tenderer will be required to undertake the implementation of the new solution to all 57 academies plus our head office team prior to the system going live as the sole solution within the trust from 1 April 2022. The technical standards used as a requirement for this Call-Off Contract under the GCloud 12 framework are: Schools MIS in Cloud software deployable to a public cloud, where the supplier is not a reseller, where user support is available through email or online ticketing and by phone, where users can access the service through a web browser interface and mobile devices, where usage metrics are provided through real-time dashboards, where data storage and processing locations include the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA), where users authenticate with 2-factor authentication, where service managers and administrators authenticate with 2-factor authentication, where security certificates held include ISO/IEC 27001 (service security) and with a discount for educational organisations and a free trial.
