Tender description

Coleg Sir Gar, are seeking to appoint, and work with a Consultant / Service Provider in order to develop and demonstrate a protocol for on farm monitoring and assessment of precision farming techniques and tools. The objective of this work package is to develop and demonstrate how precision farming techniques and tools can be adopted across the farm, and can be used to measure and monitor the status of the assets and inform decisions while capturing the overall impacts on production efficiency in terms of environmental and sustainable goals and financial improvements. The proposed outcome of this work package is to develop and demonstrate benefit that can be generated on farm to take maximum advantage of all of the proposed developments within the core project activities, for example precision application of the nutrient rich cake generated in the de-watering process.
