Tender description

Medite Europe DAC are seeking expressions of interest from suitable qualified civil contractors who want to be considered to participate in the tender competition relating to the Stores & Welfare Facilities project. The project will start in Mid/late November. The project scope will include: Renovating of former forming hall (1,040M2) for use as a new Stores area including renovation of office space and converting existing stores areas (240M2) into employee welfare facilities including locker rooms, toilet & shower blocks. The works will include, but are not limited to, the following; • Demolition & site preparations, • Project PSCS Role as per: HAS Guidelines on the Procurement, Design and Management Requirements of the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006. • Construction of new walls & floors, • Construction of a new mezzanine level, • Modifications to existing building elevations • Plumbing for new toilet & shower blocks, • Electrical works, • HVAC & air conditioning, • Ceilings & wall finishes, • Fixtures & fittings, Medite is a live factory environment that operates on a 24/7 basis. The manufacturing activities of the plant must remain operational for the duration of the works. Deliveries to site of raw materials, loading and dispatch of finished goods, movement of personnel and equipment, Process activity and flows through the main plant and associated maintenance and similar operations will all take place during the project. The appointed contractor will be required to coordinate and cooperate with the Medite operations to achieve this end and ensure the safety of all users of the site.
