Oracle Database Administration Enterprise Level support services in an n-tier Environment

Tender description

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine invites tender proposals from competent service providers for the provision of a team of suitably qualified individuals (Candidate “Team Lead”, and three other Candidates “Team Members”) to work as part of a team providing expert database administration support with respect to the Oracle RDBMS. The team will be expected to have previously worked as senior enterprise level DBAs with the requisite qualifications in Oracle Technologies, but it is acknowledged that working with Geographic Information Systems is not a common role for DBAs so the (Candidates “Team Members”) are not required to have this as a current skill. It should be noted that managing GIS data will be a part of all team members’ work, and persons engaged under this competition will be required to rapidly expand their skill set to include this technology.
