Contract for the provision of services in relation to the creative & design: craft & design T Level Technical Qualification

Tender description

This lot covers the selection of a supplier (awarding organisation) for the award of the contract to design, implement and deliver the technical qualification component for the creative & design: craft & design pathway T Level. T Levels are a new classroom-based technical study programme forming part of the UK Government's Post-16 Skills Plan. They will be available to young people alongside apprenticeships as one half of a high quality technical education offer. T Levels will be primarily studied at an education or training provider. Students will study a broad occupational area before specialising, and will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills on a substantial industry placement. On 5 July 2023, the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education and the Former Supplier agreed to transfer the contract for the provision of services in relation to the Creative & Design: Craft & Design T Level Technical Qualification to Pearson Education Limited. This was by virtue of a Variation dated 20 September 2023 to the Contract for the provision of services in relation to the Legal Services T Level Technical Qualification. Pearson and IfATE agreed that the contract for the provision of Services in relation to the Legal Services T Level Qualification made between Pearson and IfATE dated 6 January 2022, shall be varied to enable Pearson to step into a contract for the provision of Services in relation to the Creative & Design: Craft & Design T Level Technical Qualification.
