<p>Following on from our initial request for information in July/August 2021, the Council would like to invite suppliers to attend an engagement event relating to this upcoming procurement exercise.</p> <p>Held on October 22nd 2021 at Huddersfield Town Hall, the event will allow companies interesting in tendering for this upcoming contract the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders, gain an understanding of the contract, aims and objectives and will include a small, limited tour of the building undergoing refurbishment.</p> <p>The maximum number of attendees per company is 2.</p> <p>There are three sessions, you may only attend one. To access Civic Centre 1 (the building being refurbished) you must come with appropriate steel toe cap shoes and a high visibility jacket, access will be denied if the correct PPE is not worn.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What are we looking for?</p> <p>We require a Contractor who will work with key Council stakeholders to provide design services and supply furniture to a large refurbished office space, working to our specifications. The Contractor must be able to supply large quantities of furniture, within agreed timescales. We are expecting the handover of the refurbishment to be phased, thus the Contractor may be required store furniture they are supplying, so it can be installed in stages to the site. Kirklees require a design service from the Contractor, this is anticipated to include 3D imagery, AutoCAD plans (to include blocks of any items supplied) and also mood boards which include imagery and samples (expected materials for soft furnishings and timber).</p> Keywords: furniture, modern, office, renovation, refurbishment
