UK_2021_International alumni community platform

Tender description

The British Council is in the process of creating a global alumni network for international UK alumni. It will initially be aimed at international alumni of UK higher education institutions who have spent at least one semester in the UK, including those who have studied overseas with a UK higher education institution via transnational education or online study. It will subsequently include young people overseas who have participated in British Council and UK government programmes. We aim to engage at least 150,000 alumni with this network by 2025. The British Council already supports a range of alumni activities globally and has connections to over 90,000 higher education alumni overseas. The programme will provide a core digital offer to alumni spanning careers and employability, learning and development and networking opportunities, as well as a chance to showcase alumni stories. This tender is for the creation and implementation of an appropriate digital engagement and management platform which will facilitate the online offering, allowing alumni access to all activities in one space with a single login. The platform will launch to our alumni community in August 2022. A minimal viable product is required by the end of March 2022.
