PROVISION OF CONSULTATION RESPONSE ANALYSIS : A NATIONAL CARE SERVICE FOR SCOTLAND CONSULTATION AND CONSULTATION ON ANNE’S LAW

Tender description

The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers has procured a Supplier to undertake the analysis of responses to the public consultation on a National Care Service and the public consultations on Anne’s Law. The overall aim of the contract is provide robust and timely analysis and reporting on the responses to the consultation to inform the development of primary legislation on a National Care Service and Anne’s Law. The Supplier will analyse the responses to three consultations, which will include views from social care service users, social care sector workers, unpaid carers, care providers, relatives, and other stakeholders. The Supplier will write and submit two reports and executive summary (one for each consultation) as the final output of the response analysis. The purpose of the reports and executive summaries are to assist the Scottish Government and Scottish Ministers to consider the views of the consultation respondents during the policymaking process. The consultation responses for the National Care Service will inform the development of primary legislation and related work to create a National Care Service. The final output will be discussed by policy makers and the stakeholders involved in the creation of a National Care Service and will be published on the Scottish Government website to promote transparency. The consultation responses for Anne’s Law will inform the development of primary legislation to develop Anne’s Law and changes to the National Health and Social Care Standards.
