***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the Crown Commercial Services RM6182, Occupational Health, Employee Assistance Programmes Lot 1 Brief Description of Requirement Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has a duty of care to its staff and must legally have provision for Occupational Health (OH) and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) support. This procurement exercise is for the provision of a fully managed service, for Occupational Health Services and Employee Assistance Programmes for all BEIS personnel. This service will enable BEIS to address particular health and attendance issues, meet their statutory obligations with regards to health surveillance, identify the preventative measures that can be taken to minimise the overall risk of sickness absence and to improve employee health and wellbeing in the workplace. Also the provision of Employee Assistance Programmes, the successful supplier will be able to provide support to users over the full range of work related or personal matters that may impact on workplace performance, mental health and wellbeing and seek to resolve, manage and prevent those issues where possible. To enable BEIS to fulfil this obligation to its employees, professional occupational health advisors are engaged to assist with the prevention of occupational ill health, rehabilitation of employees, provision of advice on disabilities and long-term health conditions and health promotion, and employee assistance programme support is engaged to provide wellbeing and mental health support.
