Limerick City and County Council, Multiparty Framework Agreement, Ground Investigation Works

Limerick City and County Council acting as a purchasing body is setting up a multi-supplier Framework Agreement ("the Framework Agreement") for the provision of Ground Investigation Works in relation to the development of Major National Road Schemes (Capital Cost >€20m) in which the Council is involved in within the City and County of Limerick. It is the intention that Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) will procure mini-competitions (calls-offs) from the Framework for ground investigation works required to facilitate the development of Major National Roads Schemes in the City and County of Limerick. Detailed technical requirements will be set out as part of each mini-competition for each of the individual Investigation Works Contracts. Refer to the Specification. The scope of the Investigation Works Contract may include part or all of the following elements, with the specific requirements being provided within each Call-Off Contract: Cable Percussion Boring, Rotary Core Drilling, Rotary Percussive Drilling, Sonic Drilling, Window Samples, Windowless Samples, Trial Pits, Trial Trenches, Inspection Pits, Dynamic Probing, Pavement Coring, Cone Penetration Testing, In-situ Testing, Borehole Acoustic/optical televiewer surveys, Down the Hole Geophysical logging, Geophysical Surveying (land & overwater based), Installation & Monitoring of gas standpipes & groundwater standpipes/piezometers. Soil, Groundwater & Surface Water sampling, Geotechnical and geochemical laboratory testing, Factual reporting on all aspects of the investigation, Interpretation of surveys undertaken & static cone penetration results, Liaison with LCCC and external bodies including landowners, Provision of temporary traffic management where required, Provision of an Ecological Clerk of Works, Provision of an Archaeological Clerk of Works, Reporting and Acting as PSCS for the duration of the Contracts.
